Jake had the following day off. He’d hoped to sleep in and then spend some more time with Cody and Liam, but he didn’t count on how his abductions would impact staffing at the store. When he woke up he had a frantic voicemail from Max, complaining that the shipment from yesterday hadn’t been opened and neither Cody nor Liam had shown up for work and he couldn’t get in touch with either of them and could Jake come pick up a shift as soon as possible?
Jake was tempted to just make up an excuse, but then he thought about the other consequences of Cody and Liam’s disappearance. They’d be reported. Eventually the police would get involved. He’d probably be questioned and he didn’t want to seem suspicious. He groaned and called Max back and promised to be there soon.
That meant leaving his captives home all day without him, and he knew that Brandon was off that day. No reason to think he’d go into Jake’s room, but it made him uneasy. He couldn’t keep the little guys in his car all day, they’d overheat. If he brought them into the store, they were even more likely to be discovered by Max or whoever else was working that day. They’d have to stay there.
Jake got up and started getting ready. After he was dressed, he found one of Brandon’s protein bars and broke off pieces of it for the boy, and took the rest for himself. He opened Liam’s box to find him still asleep, curled on his side clutching the rolled shirt like a body pillow. He tried not to wake him up but Liam blinked his eyes open as Jake was placing the protein bar fragment nearby. He sat up suddenly, startled by the hugeness of his friend. Then the events of the previous night came back to him and he slumped back down, watching Jake silently.
“I have to go into work,” said Jake. “There’s some food. I’ll get you something better when I get home.”
“I gotta piss.”
Right. It was morning. Cody would probably be in the same state, and as funny as it would be to make Cody piss himself, he didn’t want to have to clean it up.
“Hang on,” said Jake.
He found some dixie cups in the bathroom and brought a few back. He set one down in the box.
“Use that.”
He waited. Liam didn’t move. Jake nudged the cup toward him.
“Some privacy?” said Liam.
“Fine.”
Jake closed the lid on the box and got Cody’s jar off the shelf. At some point during the night, Cody had crawled out of the sock and spread out on top of it. He was laying on his back with serious morning wood resting on his belly.
“Wake up, Toy.”
Cody opened his eyes. He saw Jake looking down at him. He sat up and then realized he was naked and hard and he pulled the sock up between his legs.
“Dreaming about my feet? You’ll see more of them soon,” said Jake.
He set the cup in the jar.
“Your bathroom, if you can go with that thing. Better hurry if you don’t want to hang out with your piss all day.”
He went back to the box and opened the lid. Liam was sitting next to the protein bar fragment. There was a little yellow puddle in the cup.
“How am I supposed to wash my hands?” said Liam.
“Spit on them,” said Jake.
He started to take the cup out.
“Leave an empty one,” said Liam. “In case I have to go later.”
Jake was getting annoyed but he grabbed an empty cup and shoved it in the box.
“Are you going to grow me back?” said Liam.
“I don’t even know how,” said Jake, snapping the box shut.
He put the book down on top of box. When he looked over at Cody’s cup he found it empty.
“Can’t go, Toy?”
“Not until I deal with this,” Cody gestured at his lap, still covered by the sock.
“Well, I don’t have time to wait.”
He put the lid back on the jar. He was going to put it back on the shelf, but he decided they should be hidden, just in case. He took the jar to his closet and shoved it up at the top, draping a towel over it. He grabbed Liam’s box and brought that to the closet too. There was no more room on the top shelf, so he set it on the floor and stacked some sneakers on top of it. He slid the closet door shut. He remembered a trick he used to use to catch his brother going into his stuff when they were kids. On the shelf sat a couple little origami swans he’d made years ago. He dropped them in the track of the closet door, then snapped a picture of their position.
Jake grabbed the heat gun and shoved it in his backpack. He locked his bedroom door on the way out. It was just a privacy lock, but it would have to be good enough. He’d run to the hardware store and get a better one on his lunch break.
As he was leaving the apartment, he ran into Brandon coming back from his run. Brandon was wearing a tiny pair of black shorts and he had rivulets of sweat running over his bare chest. He pulled off his headphones when he saw Jake.
“Thought you were off today?”
“They called me in.”
“Bummer. See you tonight?”
“Yeah. Later.”
Jake headed for the elevator.
Brandon noticed that Jake wasn’t carrying the box with the mysterious Coditron figure.
Jake was hoping to experiment with the shrink-wrap a little while he was in the stock room, but Max demanded he get the shipment opened right away. He sighed as he looked at it. It was a big one and it would take all day.
On his lunch break, Jake ran to the hardware store to look at locking doorknobs. It occurred to him he’d need something to tell Brandon if he installed one. Brandon was sure to notice, and he couldn’t think of anything that didn’t sound suspicious. He wondered if there was some way to lock the closet instead, but he could only find child safety locks. He bought one, it would still be useful for keeping his captives in, but he’d need to think of a way to keep people out that Brandon wouldn’t notice.
It was close to the end of his shift when Jake finished the shipment, and he decided to grab another roll of shrink-wrap before he left. When he went into the closet to get one, he saw that the boxes they were in were different from what they usually had. Liam probably hadn’t noticed yesterday because he rarely got stock room duty. Jake looked at it curiously. It said “Dynamatter Ltd.” on one side, with a phone number and a website below it. When Jake took the box out and flipped it around, he blinked in surprise. The other side said “Mass Fluctuator” and below that was a whole list of warnings that included “Use on living organisms is outside recommended applications.”
It explained why the shrink-wrap they used had never shrunk anything before, but how did the stuff get there? Jake went to the computer and brought up the page for supply orders. He searched all over it but he couldn’t find anything called “mass fluctuator,” or any mention of Dynamatter, Ltd.
He brought up a different screen to see who had last received a supply shipment. It was Brenda, the day before her vacation started. She was probably in such a rush to get out of there she didn’t even look at it.
Jake needed to make sure no one else discovred the strange shrink-wrap, but only one box would fit in his backpack so he’d have to smuggle them out slowly. He took the boxes of shrink-wrap from the cabinet into the locking cage that housed the more expensive products. He hid them high up behind some plastic display shelving that no one ever used. He got back on the computer and ordered more of their regular stuff to replace it, then he slung his backpack over his shoulder and headed for his car.
After he got back from his run, Brandon fixed his morning shake and sat in the kitchen to drink it. He thought about the Coditron figure and how strange Jake had acted about it. There was nothing about it online. If it was as detailed as those little phones had been, it must be a work of art. For something like that to stay secret was surprising.
He thought about going into Jake’s room to take a peek at it. One peek wouldn’t hurt. He wouldn’t even post about it online, although he’d love to be the first person to leak it.
But he shouldn’t go into Jake’s room without permission. Clearly Jake didn’t want Brandon to even know about the thing. It was kind of mean of him to keep this secret, he knew how much Brandon loved this stuff. He wasn’t buddies with Jake like he was with Jake’s brother Brady, but Brandon thought they were friendly at least.
He shouldn’t do it. He should just finish his shake and take a shower and wait to find out about Coditron when it came out, like everyone else. Decision made, Brandon finished his shake, headed for the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Fifteen minutes later he was walking out of the bathroom with his towel hanging around his neck and he found himself looking at Jake’s door, which stood just across the hall. It would be easy to just open the door, step inside, and take a look in the box. He’d be able to stop thinking about it once he’d seen it, he just needed to know if it really was as great as it seemed.
He stood staring at the door for a few moments. This was so stupid. He should just go in there and look and be done with it. He tried the handle. Locked. Well that settles it, Jake doesn’t want you in there so you shouldn’t go in there. Brandon went into his room to get ready for the gym.
Thirty seconds later he was sliding his precision screwdriver into the opening in the door handle. He felt it click, turned the knob and entered Jake’s room. He hadn’t been in there since Jake took over Brady’s lease. He and Brady used to hang out playing Xbox all the time.
Brandon scanned the room but the box wasn’t out where he could see it. Oh well. You should just leave.
He crouched down to check under the bed. Nothing but some socks and a pair of briefs that looked like they’d been used as a cumrag. It wasn’t in the desk drawers, nor the dresser nor the trunk at the foot of the bed.
When he slid the closet door open, he spotted the box sitting on the floor under a couple pairs of sneakers. Finally. He paid close attention to how the shoes were stacked so he could put them back the way they were. Blue ones on the bottom, white ones on the top, one white one upside down. He slid the box out from under them. He felt something scrambling around inside the box as he moved it. Did a mouse get in there? Brandon pulled up the flaps, anxious to make sure the Coditron hadn’t been damaged.
There was no mouse inside, but the figurine he found wasn’t much bigger than one. The detail was out of this world, better than he even hoped. It was strangely familiar. There was no packaging at all, though Jake had taken care to pad the box well. Maybe this was just a promo model? It was posed with it’s back and arms against the side of the box and looking upward like it was afraid of something. It was clothed in a red button-down shirt and a pair of jeans and sneakers. The material used to make them was so realistic. How had they ever gotten such small stitching into it. And the shirt buttons and belt buckle were so tiny.
Brandon wanted to look at the figurine with the magnifier. He tucked the box under his arm and brought it into his room, where he set it on his desk. He pulled the magnifier down close to check things out.
“Ah!” the figure shouted, flinching.
Brandon jumped back, startled. Had it just moved? Had it just talked? He crept closer. It was in a different position now and its eyes were following him as he moved.
“Are you Coditron?”
The figure didn’t seem to hear his question. It gaped at him a moment before opening its mouth.
“Are you naked?”
Liam was feeling pretty grouchy. Was he expected to just sit here all day bored out of his mind, without even his phone to distract him? Jake better buy him a new one. Maybe he would if Liam asked. It was so hard to figure out how Jake was feeling about him. One minute he was acting all nice and talking about how he’s going to take care of Liam and the next he’s dangling him forty feet in the air and yelling at him.
If only he had left the shrink-wrap alone. If he had just let Jake yell at Cody or something, none of this would have happened, but Liam saw a chance to be near Cody. He thought it was just a harmless prank they’d all laugh about later.
He shook his head. Liam had spent enough of last night playing “what if” and it got him nowhere. You’re tiny now, Liam. You can’t change it, not yet anyway. So what’s a useful thing to do?
Nothing. He couldn’t do anything but sit there in the dark driving himself crazy. There were only so many times he could jerk off picturing Cody naked before chafing would become an issue, and he’d come close to that limit last night.
When Liam heard the closet door slide open he was relieved that Jake was back. He could ask for some light and some way to relieve his boredom. Even the radio would be better than nothing.
Jake was even rougher than usual when he picked the box up. Liam stumbled back and braced against the wall. He’d talk to Jake about that, too. He had to set some boundaries if he could. He steeled himself for a confrontation, but when the flaps opened, a face that was very much not Jake’s was looking down at him.
Liam froze.
It took him a moment to recognize Brandon. He wasn’t used to seeing him billboard sized. When he did recognize him, his fear became a surge of hope. He was about to plea for help when he was thrown into darkness again and the box was moving swiftly through the air, bouncing Liam around.
When it opened again, an even larger face, strangely distorted with hideously big eyes was staring at him. Liam shouted in fear. The thing startled and moved back. When it approached again, Liam saw it was still just Brandon. There was some kind of magnifying glass between them making him look strange, but there was Brandon’s square face, his round pecs, his washboard stomach.
His fat dick.
Brandon said something unintelligible, but Liam was unable to look away from the cock dangling just above him, larger than his whole body.
“Are you naked?” Liam asked.
It was a dumb question. The answer was staring him right in the face with its one enticing eye.
“Yeah,” said Brandon. “You look kind of familiar. You’re Jake’s friend, right?”
“Liam, yeah.”
“That’s right. How did you get so small?”
“Long story. Shrink-wrap. Not so long, I guess. But Brandon, you’ve got to help us, Jake went mental! He did this to us and now he’s got us trapped here, you’ve got to get us out!”
“Us?”
“He shrank Cody too. He’s in a sock in a jar.”
“Um, okay. Can I pick you up?”
“Uh, I guess that’s alright. I wouldn’t mind getting out of here, but please be careful. And go slow!”
Brandon put his hand down next to Liam, flat with his palm up. Liam stepped onto it and Brandon brought his other hand close, curled around Liam protectively as he lifted him slowly out of the box. He was so much gentler than Jake was. Brandon brought him to about mid-chest. His eyes were roaming all over Liam’s body.
“You’re incredible.”
Liam knew it was just his size that Brandon was talking about, but it felt good to be complimented by the big guy. When Brandon started to gently rub his back with a finger, Liam began to get hard.
Cody wasn’t sure which was worse, the pungent smell of Jake’s sock or the acrid smell of his own piss. He’d taken care of his hard-on after Jake left, trying not to think about Jake’s feet while he rubbed one out, but it seemed they were the only thing that could make him cum that morning. Once he’d softened up, he’d relieved himself in the cup. It didn’t take long for the smell in the jar to shift.
He really wanted a shower. He felt gross. Whether that was from the condition of his bedding, the smell surrounding him or the incident last night, was also uncertain. Probably all three.
He needed a new strategy to deal with Jake. The defiant, you-can’t-break-me approach had clearly failed. He felt pretty broken.
Cody had never shared his foot thing with anyone. It was just an itch he needed to scratch sometimes. Just another bodily function to be taken care of in private and not discussed. It wasn’t meant to be revealed, and definitely not like that.
He’d never cum without touching himself before, either. It felt good, but also weird. When his hand was on his dick or he was thrusting it into a partner, he was in control. Last night, he wasn’t in control at all. It was embarrassing, but part of him wanted it to happen again.
And he knew what pair of feet he wanted it to happen with. Jake’s feet were gorgeous. The shape, the size, the impeccable grooming. Nothing killed the mood for Cody like gross toenails. These were immaculate. He wanted to help Jake care for them. He could picture himself with a giant emory board, buffing the edges of Jake’s nails to fine, perfect curves.
Shit. This was not good. Jake would definitely exploit this, and Cody was likely to be humiliated again. Repeatedly.
Think, Cody. Strategize. How do you turn this weakness into a strength? Humiliation is all in the mind. You can’t be humiliated if you don’t allow yourself to be. Just stop caring about it and the power it holds over you is gone.
Easier said than done.
He heard the closet door open and some light started to filter in through the towel covering his jar. Was Jake back? It hadn’t been very long. Cody wished the jar wasn’t covered. He hated not being able to see anything outside the jar. Sound was pretty muffled in the jar, too. He faintly heard some shuffling down below and then the door closed again. Did Jake just take Liam out?
This was so frustrating. Cody flopped back onto the sock and wished whatever was going to happen next would hurry up and happen.
“You’re hard.”
Brandon was still rubbing Liam’s back and he said it so softly, it didn’t quite register at first. When it did, Liam covered his crotch with his hands.
“Oh. Yeah. Sorry.” Liam sputtered. “You’re just really hot and the way you’re touching me feels good.” He blurted the last part out before he thought about what Brandon, a presumed straight guy who could easily crush Liam in his hand, might think about it. He looked at the giant, horrified.
Brandon smiled and ruffled Liam’s hair with his fingertip.
“We could touch each other in ways that feel even better, if you want.”
Okay so maybe not quite so straight. Liam was too surprised to reply.
“Look,” said Brandon.
His hand closed gently around Liam and he tilted him downward. It was kind of scary, like cresting the hill of a roller coaster from the front row, but Brandon’s grip was strong and secure and made Liam feel safe. He looked down to see Brandon’s cock was hard and swollen, sticking out straight in front of him, hovering above the desk.
“So,” said Brandon, turning Liam back face him. “You want to?”
“Uh-huh,” Liam nodded.
Brandon’s smile widened. Liam got to his feet and started to unbutton his shirt.
“Wait,” said Brandon. “Can I?”
Liam let go of his shirt.
“Uh-huh.”
Brandon put Liam on the desk and got out two pairs of tweezers. The long metallic prongs were kind of scary coming at him and when they got close, Liam flinched.
“It’s okay,” said Brandon. “I’m really good with small things.”
